The profile

A product and project lead who thinks in systems.

I work across product delivery, automation and QA, turning operational problems into scalable systems that reduce manual work, improve accuracy and support live product delivery.

I lead app release delivery at Medics.Academy as Product Executive and Project Lead, working with a remote engineering team from sprint planning and UAT through TestFlight beta and live rollout. I also own three automation systems that save 900+ working hours every year.

My strength is bridging business users, operations and engineering. I translate user and business requirements into product specifications, mockups, test scenarios and data-informed decisions across the app, CCT Calculator and Programme Admin Dashboards.

Every decision gets a user lens and a business lens, because product choices are commercial choices.

Members & Fellows Database

End to end automation · led delivery · live, used daily

Automation of the entire membership lifecycle, from requirements gathering and process mapping through build, testing, and deployment. A fully manual workflow, redesigned from the ground up into one system that runs the moment an application arrives.

ZapierStripeJotformSlackHubSpotGoogle Sheets
The same lifecycle, before and after
Eligibility
Before · manual

Staff verified programme completion and alumni status by hand for every application

After · automated

Every application is cross-checked against the alumni database and marked eligible upon submission

Payments
Before · manual

Verification meant checking Stripe, HubSpot and separate spreadsheets by hand

After · automated

Stripe syncs payment status, renewal dates and refunds into the database in real time

Certificates
Before · manual

Staff edited templates, typed each member’s details, exported PDFs and emailed one by one

After · automated

A single trigger word generates and emails a consistent, professional certificate via Zapier

CV review
Before · manual

Special cases meant creating folders manually and emailing CVs to reviewers individually

After · automated

Each CV is stored and sent to its assigned reviewer automatically, and their decision is captured via form and updated in the database in real time

Records
Before · manual

Moving a member meant updating several independent Google Sheets by hand

After · automated

Records move between active and cancellation lists instantly, with cancellation and refund details updating automatically

Updates
Before · manual

The team opened each sheet themselves to spot new applications, renewals and cancellations

After · automated

Real-time Slack notifications announce every application, decision, renewal and cancellation the moment it happens

Processing time fell from hours to seconds, with zero manual sheet updates left.
  • Application intake with automated eligibility validation, programme completion checks, and alumni verification
  • Stripe integration syncing payment status, renewal dates, cancellations, and refunds in real time
  • Automated certificate generation across first time issuance, renewals, upgrades, and grade transitions
  • Re-subscriber detection using primary and secondary email matching to prevent duplicate records
  • Real time team notifications across every key membership event

CCT Calculator

Validation & release support · Yorkshire & Humber NHS England · selected for AoME 2025 · live, external users

An externally deployed CCT / Foundation Calculator for Yorkshire & Humber NHS England, built to automate complex training progression and completion date calculations for doctors in training. I supported requirements clarification, specification writing, validation, QA and release support for a rules-heavy product where every output had to remain accurate across non-linear training pathways.

“Previously took 30 minutes per trainee, now it only takes 2 minutes.”

User feedback · Yorkshire & Humber NHS England validation
  • Translated Deanery requirements into clear specifications for calculations spanning past, current and future rotations
  • Tested real-world scenarios covering LTFT working, WTE changes, sick leave, parental leave, date gaps and overlapping placements
  • Validated outputs against manual spreadsheet calculations to protect accuracy and consistency across users
  • Documented and re-tested issues across calculation logic, UI and analytical layers throughout each release phase
  • Coordinated directly with engineers to confirm fixes and re-validate outputs after resolution
  • Strengthened release confidence throughout each release phase of an externally deployed, rules-heavy clinical tool

Validated by Yorkshire & Humber NHS England, the calculator achieved an estimated 90% reduction in calculation time, improved user preference to 8.5/10 versus 4.8/10 for spreadsheets, helped remove 20+ day manual overestimations, and was selected for presentation at the AoME 2025 Annual Conference.
